The Logan County girls’ soccer team beat visiting Todd County Central 2-0 for the second time this season on Tuesday night, with the victories over the Lady Rebels bookending a seven-game run of shutouts.
The Lady Cougars improve to 9-1 and have not allowed a goal to 13th-District competition on the way to a 5-0 mark.
Todd Central hasn’t allowed more than two goals in any match this season, slipping to 1-7 overall and 1-3 in district play.
Goalkeeper Sam Case has been a big part of the Lady Rebels’ defensive performance so far, making almost 10 saves a game and allowing only a single goal per contest.
Todd Central will look to bounce back on Thursday when Fort Campbell visits.
Logan County will also be back in action on Thursday with a matchup with South Warren.
