Christian County picked up its second consecutive district win with a straight-set win at Fort Campbell Tuesday. The Lady Colonels won 25-14, 25-21, 25-13 to improve to 3-5 ahead of Thursday’s match at Hopkins County Central.
Chantelle Haby had four of Christian County’s 22 aces and assisted on 14 points. Skylar Kirby added eight aces, and Hailey Sparks had nine kills and five aces.
NaVaeh Day was strong at the net with three blocks, and Camryn Armstrong had three kills.
Christian County moves into second place in the Eighth District standings at 2-1.
Fort Campbell drops to 1-7 overall and 0-3 in the district. The Lady Falcons will host University Heights Academy in another district contest on Thursday.
