The Hopkinsville volleyball team failed to take a set on Thursday at Apollo, extending its losing run to five matches.
The E-Gals picked up only their second win in their last eight matches, topping the Lady Tigers 25-16 in the opening set. Hopkinsville managed only 4 points in a second set loss, before falling 13-25 in the third to end the match.
Hopkinsville slips to 5-14 overall ahead of a rematch with UHA on Monday. The Lady Blazers took the first meeting 2-0 in the Apollo Summer Slam back on August 23.
