The Caldwell County Lady Tiger volleyball team was swept in three sets at Paducah Tilghman on Thursday, 25-22, 25-10, 25-18.
Tilghman had not beaten Caldwell since 2011.
Lily Hoard had six kills and two digs to lead the Lady Tigers.
Adison Sullenger recorded 14 set assists, seven digs, two aces and a kill.
Kynady Thomas had two kills.
Maggy Griggs recorded seven digs and three aces.
Kyndra Winters added six digs for the Caldwell.
Mary Tays had five digs and a kill.
Claire Knoth added three digs.
The Lady Tigers are 9-6 while the Lady Tornado is 11-5.
The Lady Tigers will head to Richmond on Friday for the All A Classic state tournament.
Caldwell takes on Ballard Memorial at 6:00 Eastern time and Somerset Christian at 7:30 in pool play at Eastern Kentucky University.
The Lady Tigers will finish pool play at 8:30 Eastern time Saturday morning against Lexington school Sayre.
Caldwell will then move on to either the championship bracket or the consolation bracket depending on how it finishes in pool play.
The top two in each four-team pool move on to the championship while the bottom two in each pool play in the consolation bracket.
