Trenton Hayes continued his assault on opposing nets with four more goals to lead Heritage Christian Academy to a 5-2 win at North Hardin Christian Friday.
The game was a matchup of the No. 2 and No. 3 ranked teams in the KCAA. Vova West added a goal and three assists for HCA, who should remain No. 2 in next week’s KCAA Power Poll.
The Warriors trailed in the contest and played a man down due to a red card when they rallied for the win.
HCA is now 5-0-1 and has scored 21 goals while allowing just three.
The Warriors will host Christian County Saturday afternoon in the first KHSAA match for the soccer program.
