
Marshall County claimed the team title at the 2021 Kentucky Golf Coaches Association All-State Championship played over the weekend in Lexington.
Eighth-grader Trinity Beth tied for the top spot with Shelby County’s Isabella Wiley with a 1-over par score over the two days at the University Club of Kentucky.
Savannah Howell tied for 11th place at 10-over par. Megan Hertter shot a pair of 78s to finish tied for 21st at 13-over.
CeCelia Ray was 49th at 27-over par, and Katie Roberts was 55th at 30-over par.
As a team, Marshall County edged Madison Central High School by two shots to claim the team title. Sacred Heart Academy was 26 shots back in third, and Madisonville was fourth some 35 shots behind the Lady Marshals.
The KGCA All-State Championship features the top 15 teams and top 21 individuals not on those teams. Qualifying is based on All-State points accumulated during the regular season for that year.
