Christian County eighth-grader Landon Hunt won the middle school region tournament Sunday at the Calvert City Country Club.
Hunt, who plays on the high school team at Christian County, edged two other golfers by one shot to get the win with a birdie on his last hole. Hunt’s nine-hole score was a 35.
Hunt will advance to the Kentucky Jr. PGA State Middle School Tournament next weekend in Bardstown.
