On a football team full of young players, it is important to have some older leadership. That is where Fort Campbell’s Patrick Hayes comes in for the Falcons. Patrick is this week’s Jersey Mike’s “Player of the Game” for his efforts in Friday night’s loss to Fort Knox.
Hayes led the Falcons in rushing with 134 yards rushing on 12 carries. He also was 3 of 11 through the air for 11 yards.
Hayes becomes the first Falcon to rush for more than 100 yards in a contest since Conner Brinkmeyer in the final game of the 2019 season.
For his performance, Hayes has been selected to be the Jersey Mike’s “Player of the Game.” Congratulations to Patrick and thanks to Jersey Mike’s.
