It was an historic night for Madisonville-North Hopkins’ Camryn LaGrange Tuesday. LaGrange scored four goals to lead the Lady Maroons past the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers 6-0 and become the Lady Maroons’ all-time leading scorer.

Less than two minutes into the match, LaGrange took a pass from Raelynn Blandford and found the net as the Lady Maroons took a quick 1-0 lead. LaGrange scored again at the 25:00 to push the lead out to 2-0.

Outside of those two goals, the Lady Tigers were able to rein in the Madisonville attack in the opening half, and found themselves in the same position they were in over the weekend when they trailed UHA 2-0 before pulling off a second-half rally.

However, on this night, the rally would not come to be.

Lillie Carman found the net for the Lady Maroons inside the opening two minutes of the second half to push the lead out to 3-0. Camryn LaGrange scored her third goal of the night at the 55:00 mark to extend the lead to 4-0.

It was LaGrange again at the 66:00. This time she headed in a pass from Kennedy Justice to move the lead on out to 5-0. Raelynn Blandford would wrap up the scoring with a goal at 73:30 to set the final score at 6-0.

With her four goals, Madisonville’s Camryn LaGrange raised her career total to 126, surpassing Laura Rao as the school’s all-time leading scorer.

Vy Nguyen finished the night with eleven saves in goal for the Lady Tigers.

Hopkinsville suffered their first loss since back on September 2nd. The Lady Tigers are set to get back to action Thursday when they host Logan County at the Stadium of Champions.
