Caldwell County volleyball continues to have the number of its 7th District adversary Hopkins County Central.
The Lady Tigers rolled to a straight-set victory in Mortons Gap on Tuesday, 25-11, 25-17, 25-11.
Caldwell is now 41-1 all-time against the Lady Storm.
Hopkins Central’s lone win came during the 2013 season on a neutral court at McCracken County.
Caldwell used a balanced attack to improve to 12-9 overall this season and 2-0 in district play.
Brylee Butts had six kills and a block while Savannah Scott also added six kills.
Katie Menser recorded five kills. Lily Hoard had four kills and a block.
Kynady Thomas totaled three kills and two blocks.
Adison Sullenger had two kills to go with 25 set assists, six digs and two aces.
Mary Tays led the team with eight digs.
Maggy Griggs and Kyndra Winters each had three digs and four aces while Claire Knoth added two digs and three aces.
Hopkins Central is now 5-11 and 0-1.
The Lady Storm will visit district rival Madisonville-North Hopkins on Thursday.
Caldwell goes to Marshall County on Thursday.
