The Todd County Central Lady Rebels continue to be one of the hottest volleyball teams in the area. The Lady Rebels traveled to Christian County and came away with a straight-set win over the Lady Colonels Thursday night. The win was their seventh in their last eight matches and it continued the season-long streak of every win being by sweep so far in 2021.
The Lady Rebels took the opening set over the Lady Colonels 25-17. From there, Todd County Central found yet another gear.
The Lady Rebels took the second set handily 25-10. They would go on to close out the match with another 25-10 win in the third set.
Lucy Chester finished the night with 13 kills for the Lady Rebels. Lanie Bivins added eight and Lynnlee Jones had five. Chester also had five service aces.
Addileigh Wofford had a huge night for Todd Central. Wofford had 26 assists, three kills, and two service aces.
For Christian County, Hailey Sparks had five kills and nine digs. Chantelle Haby finished the night with eight assists. At the net, Camryn Armstrong had three kills and two blocks.
Todd Central now goes to 12-5 on the season. Christian County drops to 4-6.
