It was a tough trip to the other side of the lakes Thursday night for the Christian County Colonels. The Murray Tigers scored five goals over a fifteen-minute span of the first half and then rolled on to a 10-0 win over the Colonels.
The match was scoreless until the 24:00 mark when Collier Crouch scored to make it 1-0. Two minutes later Dylan McCallon found the net to extend the lead to 2-0.
Murray would score again at the 31:00 on a goal from Max Rosa to make it 3-0. Wes McCuiston scored seven minutes later to push the lead out to 4-0. A minute later, Collier Crouch scored his second goal of the night to send the Tigers to the break with a 5-0 lead.
The second half was more of the same as Murray would tack on five more goals to end the match with a 10-0 win.
The win, which was Murray’s third straight, moves the Tigers to 10-6-2. With the loss, Christian County drops to 0-14-1.
