Christian County finished in eighth place Monday at the Region 2 Golf Tournament played at the Madisonville Country Club.
Sisters Riley and Lexi Johnson led the Lady Colonels with rounds of 101. Riley birdied No. 12 and had a par on No. 18.
Lexi improved five shots on the back nine where she carded a 48. Her day included two pars and seven bogeys.
Jessah Hayden was Christian County’s No. 3 golfer with a 110. She had one par and four bogeys in her round.
Lacy Patterson shot a 140 and Emilie Cook added a 143
As a team, the Lady Colonels tied Union County with a score of 452. However, Cook’s score was used as a tie-breaker and was lower than Union’s fifth golfer.
Madisonville won the team title with a score of 320.
