A tough stretch of the 2021 soccer season continued for the Lyon County Lyons Monday night. The Lyons dropped a 3-1 road decision to the Mayfield Cardinals.
The loss was the ninth in a row for the Lyons. Lyon County’s last, and only, win of the 2021 season was back on August 24 when they picked up a road win at Fort Campbell.
The loss to Mayfield drops the Lyons to 1-15 on the year.
The Lyons are set to be back in action Tuesday as they host district rival Trigg County.
