Madisonville-North Hopkins looks for a third straight girls’ region golf title Monday at the Region 2 Tournament at the Madisonville Country Club.
Apollo’s Macey Brown is both the defending region and state champion and looks to repeat. She beat Madisonville’s Kaitlyn Zieba by four shots at last year’s region tournament in Hopkinsville.
The first place team and the next seven low scores not on that team qualify for next week’s state tournament at the Bowling Green Country Club.
