Leah Schroeder and Rose Smith provided the firepower in Lyon County’s 7-3 victory over Crittenden County on Tuesday, completing the Lady Lyons’ perfect 4-0 run in 5th-District play.
Schroeder’s four goals took her season total to 25, while Smith had an assist to go with her hat trick that takes her to a jaw-dropping 44 goals and 14 assists for the year.
Anna Crawford chipped in an assist and Maddie Russell made eight saves in goal to give the Lady Lyons a 13-2-2 record ahead of a regular-season finale against St. Mary on Thursday.
Crittenden County slips to 6-9-1 despite two goals and an assist for Taylor Guess. Addyson Faughn also had a goal and Lyli Wesmolan provided an assist.
Hannah Long allowed four goals and made five saves and Joslyn Silcox stopped three shots and yielded three goals for the Lady Rockets.
