The Caldwell County Lady Tigers have now won three in a row since their trip to the All A Classic state volleyball tournament. The Lady Tigers traveled to Hopkinsville Thursday night and were impressive in cruising to a straight-set win.
Caldwell County opened the match with a 25-15 win in the opening set. Then, they really got warmed up.
Caldwell would go on to take the second and third sets by identical 25-7 scores to complete the sweep over the Hoptown Lady Tigers.
Caldwell County was brutally efficient at the net. Savannah Scott finished with ten kills. Katie Menser added 7, while Kynady Thomas and Lily Hoard had six each. Adison Sullenger did the job setting the table for her teammates, racking up 25 assists on the night. The Lady Tigers combined to get 17 service aces in the match.
Hoptown’s Hailey Hallmark led the effort for the home-standing Lady Tigers.
Caldwell County returns to action October 5 when they host Madisonville. Hopkinsville is back on the court October 4 in a home match against Union County.
