It was not the end to the regular season that the UHA Blazers were looking for Thursday night. Seven different players scored for Owensboro as the Red Devils turned up the heat on the Blazers in a 10-0 win at Givens Field.
Peter Saang led the attack for the Red Devils with three goals and two assists. Saw Thaw added two goals. Zachary West, Sang Thang, Aiden Frego, Conner Rhoads, and Logan Lanham, all had one goal each for Owensboro.
The loss was just the third time this season that the Blazers had been held without a goal.
UHA wraps up the regular season at 9-10. The Blazers will begin 8th District tournament play Monday night when they take on Christian County in a semifinal match. UHA won the regular-season matchup between the two teams 2-1 back on August 25.
