For the second time this season, the Todd County Central girls’ soccer team and Warren East couldn’t determine a winner over 80 minutes, with the team’s playing out a 1-1 draw on Thursday night in Elkton.
The result mirrors another tie back on August 17 when the Lady Rebels belatedly opened their season. Melanie Chamberlain provided the lone goal for Todd Central on that night, but it was Madison Henderson with the scoring touch on Thursday.
Sam Case made three saves in goal for the Lady Rebels marking the fifth time this season they’ve lost or tied while allowing a single goal.
The 3rd-seeded Lady Rebels will face Russellville in the first round of next week’s 13th District tournament.
