Hopkins County Central junior Priya Holmes was the last player to kick in Monday’s shootout against Caldwell County in the girls’ 7th District tournament semifinal in Madisonville.
Holmes sent everyone home with a perfectly-placed kick into the upper left corner and sent the Lady Storm into Wednesday’s district championship game against Madisonville-North Hopkins.
Hopkins Central won the tiebreaker 2-1 and took the match by that some score.
