The Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons continued their late-season hot streak Thursday night. The Lady Maroons came to Hopkinsville and won their fourth straight match, and fifth in their last six, as they swept the Lady Tigers in a 2nd Region matchup.
During their current run, all of the Lady Maroons’ wins have come in straight sets.
Thursday night, they opened the match by taking the first set 25-15. From there, the Lady Maroons got on a big roll to finish the night.
Madisonville won the second set 25-10, and then closed out the sweep with a 25-9 win in the third set.
Kendrea White led the Lady Maroon attack with 17 kills. Kaitlyn Orange added 9 more. Amya King finished the night with 30 assists.
The loss drops the Lady Tigers to 6-19 on the season. Hoptown returns to the court Tuesday night at Crittenden County.
