After two regular-season losses to Hopkinsville, the UHA Lady Blazers entered Monday’s 8th-District semifinal with the Lady Tigers determined to produce a strong performance. The Lady Blazers did just that, leading at the halftime break before seeing a fourth-quarter rally fall short in a 52-49 loss.
Lily Hendricks led the way with 20 points, including 14 in the first half, and spoke afterward about the team’s mindset coming off a disappointing loss to Dawson Springs in the regular-season finale.
