The Caldwell County Tiger Baseball Team held its annual First-Pitch Banquet on Saturday night at the CCHS cafeteria.
Besides being a fundraiser for the baseball program, the event honored former Tiger head coaches in attendance including Jimmy Dyer, Danny Beavers, Irl Stevens and Sammie Jones. That’s every baseball coach at Caldwell going back to 1965. Current head coach Bradley Stallins said the Tigers always want to honor the past.
The 2019 Tigers were also introduced and an auction was held following the ceremony.
The Tigers are scheduled to open the regular season at home on March 18 against Crittenden County.
