On Saturday, UHA senior Isiah Pantiere turned the Region 1 Class A track & field meet at Murray High School into a bit of a personal showcase, taking top honors in each of the four events he competed in to help the Blazer boys to a third-place overall finish.
Pantiere clocked an 11.06 to take the 100M, followed by a 22.57 to finish ahead of the field in the 200M. About the only thing that went wrong for him all day was his blocks giving way at the start of the 400M, but it didn’t stop him from cruising to the top time of 51.27. He capped his perfect day with a jump of 20-04.00, edging past Crittenden County’s Branen Lamey’s 20-00.50 for the win.
