After advancing to the regional soccer tournament in 2018, the Christian County Lady Colonels are looking to take bigger steps upward during the 2019 season. The Lady Colonels traveled to Mortons Gap Thursday evening for a preseason scrimmage against the Hopkins Central Lady Storm.
The Lady Colonels jumped out to a 4-1 first half lead, and then held on for the 6-5 win on the Lady Storm’s home pitch.
After the match, Lady Colonels head coach Shannon Carter was pleased with how her team played over the course of the match.
