Lexie Hendrix tallied a hat trick to help lead Christian County to a 6-5 win over Hopkins County Central Thursday in a girls’ soccer scrimmage in Morton’s Gap.
Hendrix also had an assist for the Lady Colonels, who return seven starters from last year’s 10-9-2 team.
Lilly Larkins, Emma Fleming, and Autumn Bell each scored a goal, while Larkins and Megan Lacy had an assist.
Hopkins County Central was 11-4-1 last year.
Christian County’s final preseason scrimmage will be Monday at Grayson County.
