One night after winning the final three sets to beat Fort Campbell in a district volleyball match, Christian County repeated the feat Wednesday to score a come from behind five-set win at Clarksville Northwest.
The Lady Colonels dropped the first two sets by identical 25-20 scores. Christian County took the third set 25-20 and the fourth set 25-19. Christian took the final set 15-10 to claim the match.
Macy Baker had 22 kills and three aces, with Lindsie Oden adding four kills and three aces. Lanie Bivins had four aces, and Alyvia Stokes had three as the Lady Colonels had 16 in the contest.
Their last five-set win after dropping the first two sets was in 2017 against University Heights. The schools were playing for the first time since 2008.
Christian County improved to 7-9 with the win and moved to 3-0 in true road matches this season. The Lady Colonels will face one of the top teams in the Fourth Region Thursday when they host Logan County (13-1).
