Trigg County finished third in a three-team golf match Thursday at the Murray Country Club. Trey Carr and Grayson Thomas shared top honors for Trigg with rounds of 42 over nine holes. Hunter Reynolds shot a 43, and Ty Butts added a 47.
Trigg County totaled 174 points as a team, which ten shots behind Murray and six behind second place Marshall County. Murray’s Brogan Welsh took medalist for the day with a score of 34.
On Tuesday, Trigg County finished second in a three-team match at Drake Creek Golf Course. Dallas Ahart had the low round for Trigg with a score of 39. Trey Carr and Greyson Grissom each shot a 42, while Ty Butts shot a 44. Grayson Thomas and Hunter Reynolds both carded a 46.
Trigg had 174 points, which was five behind Paducah Tilghman and 15 ahead of third place Graves County.
