Colonel Runners Continue to Gain Experience on the Course

Christian County’s young cross country runners continue to gain experience as the season enters the final month. The Colonels were spread out over varsity and middle school races Saturday at the Marshall County Invitational.

Aly Adler was the only Lady Colonel to compete in the girls’ varsity race. He finished 138th in a time of 33:05.

Daihla Price led Christian County in the middle school race with a 42nd place finish. Cori’Anna Cunningham was 43rd, and Lilly Westerfield was 65th.

Logan Carter led the Colonel runners in the boys; varsity race with a 184th place finish in a time of 23:16 over the 3.1-mile course. Perry Cunningham was 195th in 24:14, followed by Logan Moore (221st, 26:39); and Conner Rinehart (226th, 28:23).

The Colonels fielded four runners in the varsity race which was one shy of the five required for a team score.
