With one starter out with an injury and others battling illness, Caldwell County’s girls are having to learn how to pick up the slack, especially on the offensive.
On Monday, Jada Boyd scored 21 points and Majah Hollowell had 15 as the Lady Tigers defeated University Heights 49-37 in the All A Classic. Caldwell plays in the tournament semifinals Thursday at 6 p.m. in Dawson Springs.
Following Monday’s win, Caldwell head coach Chuck Mitchell talked about players picking up the slack and about the All A Classic itself in this YSE interview.
