Lyon County senior Ashlyn Doom got the rare start in Monday’s Second Region All-A Classic quarterfinal and made the most of it as the Lady Lyons beat Fort Campbell. She talked about the emotions of seeing her name in the starting lineup. However, she is also busy off the court. Doom is the state president for Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), and those duties will keep her from playing in Thursday’s semifinal.
