Heritage Christian Academy closed out their game with a 16-7 run to beat Currey Ingram 46-35 Friday for their third win in their past five games.
Derek Wadlington scored all eight of his points in the decisive fourth quarter. He also had eight rebounds and three steals.
Weston Powell led the Warriors with 14 points and nine rebounds. HCA got a boost off the bench from Carter Glover who scored five points.
Truman Christie-Mizell led Currey Ingram, located in Brentwood, Tenn., with 24 points.
Heritage Christian (5-18) will play at Somerset Christian Saturday in KCAA action as they look to improve their potential seeding for next month’s state tournament.
