Caldwell County took runner-up honors in the team standings and Dylan Walls was named Most Outstanding Wrestler at the Fort Knox Invitational on Saturday.
Walls was one of two individual champions for the Tiger matmen. He went undefeated at 126 pounds, winning all four of his matches by pin.
Riley Johnson was Caldwell’s other champion. Johnson went 3-0 at 113 pounds, winning in the finals with a 7-2 decision.
Collin Teutsch was runner-up at 106. Teutsch won his first two matches before dropping a 12-9 decision in the championship match.
Cofy Harris took third at 120 pounds for Caldwell while John Paredes was third at 160.
Lexington Lafayette won the team title with 208.5 points.
Caldwell totaled 122.5 points to finish second.
Hopkinsville was third with 118.5 points. Trigg County placed fifth in the event with 85 points.
