CLASS OF 2020 – Trigg County’s Andrew Greene

With the spring sports season in the books prematurely, YourSportsEdge.com has reached out to coaches, and they have provided us with information and comments on their seniors.  We will be recognizing the Class of 2020 for the remainder of what would have been the spring sports season.

Andrew Greene is a four-year member of the Trigg County High School fishing team.  He will graduate with a 3.75 GPA and plans on majoring in something within the electrical field, but is undecided on where he will attend school at this time.

Andrew is a two-time qualifier for the state championship, qualifying in his freshman and sophomore year.  In his freshman year, Andrew placed 3rd at the region tournament and then followed it up with a top 10 finish at the state championship.  The following year, Andrew qualified for the state championship again with a 14th place finish at the region tournament and then had another top 10 at state.  Being a two time state qualifier and finishing both in the top 10 are amazing accomplishments that not many students have done.

Andrew’s favorite memories of being on the fishing team are all of the memories that come from qualifying for the state championship, including staying with his teammates at Moors Resort and competing with his dad as the boat captain.
