Trigg County announced four winners of the KHSAA Triple Threat Award that recognizes athletes who play three or more sports during the school year.
Trigg’s winners were:
Tyler Ahart – Golf, Basketball, Baseball
Dallas Ahart – Golf, Basketball, Fishing, Baseball
Iyanna Grubbs – Volleyball, Basketball, Track and Field
Hunter Reynolds – Golf, Basketball, Baseball
The program was launched in May of 2018 in an effort to de-emphasize sports specialization in the athletic culture, according to the KHSAA.
