It appears another member of the Kentucky Christian Athletic Association may be headed to the KHSAA and taking away another Kentucky school from the list of schools that can be scheduled by Heritage Christian Academy for athletic competition. According to a report in The News-Enterprise, North Hardin Christian has submitted an application for KHSAA membership.
North Hardin Christian was previously a KHSAA member, leaving the KHSAA in 2009 to join the KCAA.
According to the report, school officials have cited travel as one of the reasons for seeking to make the change. Officials also noted that more KCAA schools making the move to the KHSAA have made it easier to schedule other Christian schools in KHSAA competition.
North Hardin Christian is hoping to receive a ruling on their application before the end of the summer.
North Hardin Christian is in the 2nd Region of the KCAA, while Heritage Christian is one of three members of the 1st Region.
