Claire Knoth shot a personal-best score of 75 Saturday to finish fourth at the Ballard Memorial Invitational.
The Caldwell County sophomore carded three birdies on the afternoon and just missed a fourth on No. 18 when her long putt rested just short of the cup.
Knoth’s score of 3-over par was five shots behind the winner, Murray’s Mary Browder Howell who shot a 2-under 70.
Knoth will be looking to continue her success next Saturday at the All-A Classic Region Tournament at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club.
