Madisonville put two golfers in the top eight and finished third Saturday at the Ballard Memorial Invitational at the Ballard Country Club.
Kaitlyn Zieba led the Lady Maroons with a round of 76, good for fifth place. Kat Weir followed with a 6-over 78 and finished in eighth place.
Stella Knight shot a 97 to finished tied for 24th place, and Sydney Browning added a round of 101 to tie for 27th place.
Murray’s Mary Browder Howell won the individual title with a 2-under 70.
Murray and McCracken County tied for first place with a team score of 337. Madisonville was third with a 352.
