Caldwell County senior Tate VanHooser credited the front three on the Tiger defense for keying Friday’s 22-0 shutout victory over Crittenden County.
The Tigers held the Rocket rushing attack to just 80 yards in the season opener at Tiger Stadium in Princeton.
VanHooser said teammates Drew Davis, Elijah Shaheen and Angel Long played well.
He spoke with Your Sports Edge following the contest.
