The high school cross country season officially got started Saturday for runners at Christian County High School. The Colonels headed off to Indiana to take part in the Mater Dei Invite.
Christian County finished the day with 191 points, placing them 7th in the team competition.
The Colonels top individual performance came from Camden Britton. The Christian County junior finished with a time of 19:45.12. That time placed him 37th, right behind UHA’s Chase Hendricks.
Brady Terry, of Daviess County, won the event. Hopkinsville’s Chase Atkins finished 2nd.
