When the KHSAA allowed fall sports to get underway, it acknowledge that there might be “stops and starts” to the 2020 fall sports seasons. That has become very much the case over the past few days around the area.
Christian County Public Schools Superintendent Chris Bentzel announced Thursday afternoon the postponement of the Hopkinsville High School-Christian County High School football game that had been scheduled for this Friday night. Bentzel said with some players quarantined for COVID-19 contact, the game has been postponed until a later date.
He notes the delay will allow players under quarantine to return at full strength.
Game tickets already purchased will be accepted at the rescheduled game. The date for the rescheduled game has not been set.
