Houston George tied for seventh place to lead the Christian County golfers Saturday at the Muhlenberg County Invitational played at the Central City Country Club.
George shot a 79 to finish four shots behind the winner, James Soderling of Muhlenberg County.
Micah Smith shot an 86 for the Colonels, while Landon Hunt followed with a 91, and Brady Hightower shot a 110.
The Colonels shot a team score 366 to finish in ninth place. Muhlenberg County took first place with a team score of 307.
