Could 2020 Cats Be More Talented Than 2018 & 2019

Kentucky has won 18 games the last two seasons and junior defensive lineman Josh Paschal understands the talent level those two teams had. But could this team have even more overall talent?

“I don’t want to compare us to teams from the past but I know just being out there with guys and the experience back that we are really talented,” Paschal said. “The upside we have is that we also work hard.

“We are always going at it and competing. We have a group of guys who are talented but we are also competitors. Put that together and that is a dangerous thing. We just can’t wait to play Saturday. That’s what it comes down to.”

Kentucky opens the season Saturday at noon at Auburn to start a 10-game Southeastern Conference schedule that will test UK’s depth and talent.

“We have not been able to hit a quarterback all camp,” Paschal said. “We are anxious to just be able to play football. The whole season was in jeopardy. We are just ready to go play and play the game we all love.”
