Trigg County’s girls finished sixth Saturday at the Wildcat Wilderness Invitational hosted by Franklin-Simpson. The event was run in two waves with the times combined for one composite results listing.
Trigg County’s team score of 173 was 32 behind fifth-place Hancock County and nine points ahead of seventh-place Fort Campbell.
DeDe Barbee led the Trigg County runners with a 28th place finish in a time of 23:19 over the 3.1-mile course. Reese Bush, who is returning from an injury, finished 38th in 23:55.
Trinity Cavanaugh was 47th in 24:37 with Riley Brame 11 seconds behind her in 48th place. Zoe Miller was 68th, and Alexandria Smith was 75th. Alesha Nyakeraka rounded out Trigg’s runners with an 80th place finish.
