The Christian County Colonel cross country team finished in ninth place Saturday at the Graves County Invitational in Mayfield.
Camden Britton led the Colonels with an 11th place finish. His time of 18:30 over the 3.1-mile course at the high school bettered his previous personal best by 22 seconds.
Keon Dillard finished 29th in a time of 19:51. Dasean Dunham was 60th in 22:55, followed by Conner Rinehardt in 72nd, and Aiden Knepper in 74th.
Calloway County’s Daniel Puckett won the race in a time of 17:14.
As a team, the Colonels finished in ninth place with 213 points. Graves County won the meet with 63 points.
Christian County freshman Daiha Price led the Lady Colonel runners Saturday at the Graves County Invitational in Mayfield.
Price finished 33rd with a time of 29:04 on the 3.1-mile course. Rosa Galvan was 47th in the race, and eighth-grader Charlie Mack was 50th.
Calloway County senior Ainsley Smith won the race in 20:27.
Christian County did not field the five runners necessary for a team score.
