Union County has already advanced in the KHSAA Class 3A football playoffs.
The Webster County Board of Education has announced that it has suspended school and all athletics to quarantine for the next two weeks.
That will effectively end the Trojans’ football season, with the playoffs beginning next week.
It also advances Union County to the second round. The top-seeded Braves will take on either Paducah Tilghman or Trigg County in the 3A 1st District playoffs.
