Oak Ridge Christian used a strong second half to down Heritage Christian Academy 52-35 Friday and keep the Lady Warriors winless on the season.
HCA exploded for 19 points in the second quarter and turned a six-point first quarter deficit into a 23-21 halftime lead. Kinley Deason scored six of her 10 points in the quarter.
Oak Ridge outscored Heritage 15-7 to start the second half and closed the game on 16-5 run.
Hallie Zieg led the Lady Warriors with 12 points, joined in double figures by Deason’s 10 points.
Hannah Jones led Oak Ridge with 16 points.
Heritage Christian fell to 0-7 overall and 0-3 in KCAA play. They will host Clarksville Christian Tuesday.
