McCracken County put forth a consistent scoring effort through three quarters and rolled to a 61-41 win over Trigg County Thursday in Paducah.
The Lady Mustangs scored 17 points in each of the first three quarters to build a 17-point halftime lead and take a 51-29 into the fourth quarter.
Freshman Claire Johnson led the Lady Mustangs with 18 points, while Shamiya Daye added 14 points.
Marleigh Reynolds led Trigg County with 15 points and eight rebounds. Olivia Noffsinger and Iyanna Grubbs each scored seven points for the Lady Wildcats who hit six 3-pointers in the contest.
McCracken County, coached by Trigg County native Scott Sivills, improved to 9-4 with the win. It was the second time the schools played with the Lady Mustangs winning the first game in 2018.
Trigg County will travel to Union County Friday night in a late-scheduled game.
