Madisonville-North Hopkins sophomore Amari Lovan came up with the key basket of overtime in Saturday’s win over Caldwell County.
Lovan grabbed a defensive board at one end and went coast to coast, burying a runner in the lane at the other end. She was also fouled on the play and completed the three-point trip. That put the Lady Maroons up 65-60 with 1:37 left in OT.
Madisonville’s girls would go on to win 70-62.
