Caldwell County just got guard Jabrion Spikes back in the lineup Monday after an extended sideline stay because of a hip injury. But the Tigers saw Tripp Branch go down in the third quarter of a 77-70 win over Christian Fellowship School.
Branch is expected to be out about two weeks with an ankle injury, which means the Tigers should have him back for tournament time.
YSE spoke with Caldwell head coach Daniel Kukahiko following Monday’s win, and he said several players have stepped up during the absences.
